ManaMart

From Structure to Scalability

Client: ManaMart (Online Trading Card Business via Whatnot)
Scope: Brand identity, livestream strategy, backend systems, event launches

The Context

ManaMart was already an established, fast-moving card resale business operating entirely through Whatnot. They had strong sourcing, solid traction, and a loyal customer base.

But as the business grew, so did the complexity. Inventory tracking became harder. Livestream scheduling could be more consistent. Big opportunities—like conventions and product drops—were there, but not always maximized.

They didn’t need a rescue—they needed a partner to help fine-tune systems, sharpen strategy, and free up the owner’s time to focus on growth.

Our Role

Back Pocket Co. partnered with ManaMart to support both front-end storytelling and back-end operational flow, building on what was already working while helping make day-to-day operations smoother and more scalable.

Key Contributions:

  • Collaborated on refining inventory processes to reduce oversells and streamline fulfillment.

  • Developed scalable launch workflows for high-traffic product drops.

  • Helped shape brand voice and livestream presence to stand out in a crowded Whatnot marketplace.

  • Worked with the team to position convention finds as limited, high-desire drops with built-in scarcity.

  • Supported event-based campaigns, including product selection, pricing input, and promotional timing.

  • Offered recommendations on purchasing trends to strengthen resale potential.

  • Helped align the full product pipeline: acquisition → hype → drop → sell-through.

The Result

By pairing ManaMart’s existing strengths with streamlined systems and targeted storytelling, the business became more efficient, more consistent, and better positioned to capitalize on big moments.

With these improvements layered onto an already strong foundation, ManaMart surpassed the $1M+ annual revenue mark—a milestone achieved through the owner’s vision, the team’s execution, and the strategic support we provided along the way.

ManaMart continues to grow as a recognized player on Whatnot—now with smoother operations behind the scenes and a stronger, more consistent brand presence.
